CHANGE TO THE 2008/2009 PRIMARY COMPETITION As a trial for the 2008/09 season GEMSA has decided to play its primary competition on Wednesday nights.  The competition will start at 5.30pm with matches generally finishing by 7pm. COME & TRY DAY 20th SEPTEMBER 2008 - 10am to 12pm. Bailey Reserve, East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East (behind the public swimming pool) GEMSA caters for Boys and Girls, Ages 4 and Up.  We also have a Saturday competition for Women. PRE SEASON TRAINING FOR NEW & EXISTING MEMBERS Pre season training for all interested members will commence on Saturday 23rd August 2008.  These sessions will commence at 10am and go through to 2pm and will be held at the club house at Bailey Reserve. Come along for the morning or afternoon, or the full time it's up to you.  Sessions will include pitching, batting and fielding coaching and practice. Training days August 23rd & 30th, September 6th, 13th 20th and 27th. ALL members are welcome:  This is a great opportunity for new members to come and give softball a try. Registration and season information will be available.

SEASON COMMENCES SATURDAY 11th OCTOBER 2008 No matter what your skill level is the Glen Eira Moorabbin Softball Association has the perfect team for you.  There are a number of local Clubs to choose from. We cater for children and adults who have never played softball, or adults returning to the game after a break:   -    Blastball - 4 to 7 years (boys and girls) -    T-Ball - 7 to 10 years (boys and girls) -    Primary - 9 to 12 years (mixed, girls and boys) -    Open B (women) There’s also an opportunity for more experienced players to further develop their softball skills by participating in larger competitions:  South Eastern Competition  -    Under 14 years (girls and boys) -    Under 17 years (girls and boys) -    Open A Grade (women) Waverly Competition -     Open A Grade (women)
